Thomas Ward is a retired Sargeant of the United States Air Force. He and his wife, Ella, live in Wilson, NC. This past year, Thomas went into the hospital for surgery and was awoken with the grim news that he would need to go back into surgery that same day to have one of his legs amputated. He and his wife have been troopers about this medical diagnosis and have been transitioning their lifestyle to accommodate his current needs.

Ella reached out to us this past spring to ask if we would be able to help them with renovations needed to turn their two existing small bathrooms into one larger bathroom that Thomas could easily access and utilize independently. We were very eager to start moving towards a solution that would improve their quality of life. We are so excited to say that we completed this project on August 5th, 2022!

A HUGE shout out to WFP Construction and Damian Kennedy for their contribution to this project.

We would also like to thank Plumbing Concepts, Inc., Bees Electric, Inc., Great Escape Millwork, Studio Forty and Brock Contract Services, Inc. for donating their time and materials on this project. We are so very fortunate to have great people to partner with.
